Daniel Kuether (Kee-Der) grew up on a stretch of rural, family-owned farmland in Ohio. One of five kids, he attended the local public K-12 school, and after, continued his education at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, earning a Bachelor of Arts. After college, he started working in Real Estate, and has spent over a decade working in related industries, from property management and development to real estate tech. While working in New York City, he met his husband, Dr. Ryan Suplee, a Sarasota native. They moved to Sarasota in 2018 bringing their dog Häagen with them. Shortly after arriving in Sarasota, Daniel began getting involved with the local Democratic Party. He has been a Precinct Captain for five years, most recently serving as the First Vice-Chair of the Sarasota County Democratic Party. In 2022, Daniel was the Democratic candidate for Sarasota County Commission, D4. He currently works from home as a UX/UI Designer for a real estate tech company based in New York. Daniel was elected to Chair the Sarasota Democratic Party in December of 2022. |
