PUNTA GORDA, Sunday — Charlotte County Democrats showed off new graphics and new messaging for the Party’s presence at this past weekend’s Taste of Punta Gorda. The signs and posters allowed volunteers and Party officers to encourage interested visitors to take action. The CCDEC booth was strategically located just inside the main entrance to the event.
New signs graced the Charlotte County Democratic Party’s booth at Sunday’s Taste of Punta GordaA central message was “Are You In?” Dozens of curious and motivated attendees learned how they can volunteer for various missions within the DEC and its associated Clubs.
Also, new at this event, was a campaign to enlist interested citizens in running for political office. Posters listed the open positions up for election in 2018. A number of motivated visitors received information about how to get involved in the electoral process. Several said they were interested in becoming candidates for open seats in Charlotte County.
