PUBLIC NOTICE OF RECOUNT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State has ordered a manual recount in the U.S. Senate race, and the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture race. The Charlotte County Canvassing Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on November 16, 2018, and will continue until completed to conduct the recounts.
The recounts will occur at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 226 Taylor Street Punta Gorda Fl. 33950. The recount will be open to the public.
Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal decisions made at this recount they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose they need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
