As a part of our mission to further connect Florida’s many Democratic groups, the Florida Organizers for Democratic Progress sent the FDP Chair candidates a questionnaire. We asked Democratic organizers around the state what they would like to know about the future Chair of Florida’s Democratic Party, and the responses from four of the candidates are attached.
Included are the responses from three of the candidates: Dr. Cynthia Moore Chestnut, Wes Hodge, and Ione Townsend, in the form of links to individual PDFs.
Dr. Janelle Christensen did respond to our questionnaire but has since informed us that she has withdrawn from the FDP Chair race, hence her response is not included. Manny Diaz and Nikki Barnes have not yet responded to our questionnaire, but we will deliver their responses to you the moment they do.

The FDP Chair Candidate Questionnaire contains 15 questions, submitted by Florida’s Democratic organizers, and covering topics such as ethics and accountability, bylaw reform, community disenfranchisement, support for DECs and Democratic candidates, and more.
