On Saturday, Sept 17th on Tamiami Trail, Charlotte County Democrats rallied for Democracy. Sign and flag waving with a focus on Democratic candidates was the theme of today’s event. Weather cooperated with cloud cover and moderate temperatures, making the 2 hours pleasant for all. Many passing cars greeted the ralliers with honks of support.
One fellow stopped and told us that while he couldn’t vote in Florida, he supported us, stating:” It’s good to see Democrats taking back the American Flag!” With this success, the Charlotte County Democrat Club will sponsor another Rally for Democracy – with the focus on Women’s Rights and our Candidates, next Saturday, Sept. 23.
Be seen! Be a presence in Charlotte County! The rally will start at 10 am and last for 1 hour (or more). We advise you keep your signs large and simple (4 words or less) and without reference to Trump.
