Republicans Pull Impeachment Inquiry Stunt

About two dozen House Republicans stormed a deposition in secure House Intelligence Committee spaces to rail against the impeachment inquiry of the president. Their political stunt was aimed at throwing the depositions into doubt.

Led by Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, conservative Republicans  demanded to see the proceedings where members of three committees planned to conduct interviews.

Keep in mind that these are investigative interviews with BOTH Democrats and Republicans participating. Hearings happen after the investigations.

Below is a list of Republican members who sit on the three committees conducting the interviews.

One quarter of those taking part in the Republican protest were on one of the three committees, were in the room, were taking part in the interviews, and were given equal time to ask questions of witnesses.

Reckless. Irresponsible. Anxious. We can expect more of the same from the GOP as the impeachment inquiry continues.
