This is the body of the news item. Don't worry about special formatting, the news editor will format the post to display properly on the website. There are additional tips in the sidebar.
Please include a non-copyrighted featured photo if possible. It should be in portrait format (4 high x 3 wide), approximately 400 x 300 pixels. Write a caption describing the photo. Identify anyone in the photo by name and role in the story. Make sure names are spelled correctly.
Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
If you are including an image, please include information about the photographer or source so we may properly give credit.
If possible, please provide a link to the original source of the image. This includes royalty-free or creative commons photos which usually require a proper attribution for reuse.
