Monday, March 25 at 1:30, the Senate Criminal Justice Subcommittee will vote on SB 7086 that, if passed, would narrow the definition of who is and who is not eligible to have their voting rights restored as a result of the passage of Amendment 4.
Amendment 4 restored the eligibility to vote to over 1 million Floridians with a past felony conviction. Republicans are pushing to thwart the will of Florida voters who overwhelmingly passed Amendment 4 in November 2018.
Please call those on the Subcommittee:
Keith Perry: 850-487-5008
Jeff Brandes: 850-487-5024
Jason Pizzo: 850-487-5038
Randolph Bracy: 850-487-5011
Anitere Flores: 850-487-5039
Suggested message: I am opposed to SB 7086 because it restricts the number of people who are eligible to vote due to the passage of Amendment 4. Please vote NO on SB 7086. This proposed bill is not what voters intended when they overwhelmingly passed Amendment 4 in November 2018.
