Thursday, August 5th at 9:00 AM – US Army Corps of Engineers IDS 101 and Stakeholder Session: The Integrated Delivery Schedule (IDS) is basically the overall plan for implementing restoration projects in South Florida.  More info and links to the Webex may be found here: Jacksonville District > Missions > Environmental > Ecosystem Restoration > Integrated Delivery Schedule (army.mil)

Thursday, August 5th at 6:00 PM – Jason Vuic will be discussing the history of post- WWII development in Charlotte County and throughout Florida, as described in his recently-released book “The Swamp Peddlers”.  This is an in-person presentation at the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library.

Monday, August 9th at 7:00 PM – Dr. David Tomasko with the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program (SBEP) will be providing an overview of Red Tide and algal blooms in SW Florida.
