Citizen and commission candidate Joan Fischer criticized the Economic Development Office for forcing advisory committees to accept the new regulations.
“I think this is a disgrace. The county wants no transparency. No input from the public is allowed,” she said. “Is this a way to eliminate this advisory board’s input? I believe it is.”
“I find you have been threatening them.’ You sign it or you’re out,’” Fischer said, describing her view of an ultimatum given to advisory boards.
