one of our major fundraisers being held at
6 PM on March 24th at the Kingsway Country Club.
This fundraiser provides direct financial support for our local operations. Since we receive no direct support from the state or national Democratic Party, fundraising and contributions are critical to help our volunteers to increase our presence and outreach here in Charlotte County!
It’s also a fun evening to allow us to learn from party leaders and candidates, while also connecting with local members of our communities including civic and business leaders.
As recently as a year ago, most of us could not conceive of challenging the Republican machine that has fouled our environment, fostered racism, and reversed the healthcare initiatives pioneered by President Obama.
Today, Democratic victories around the nation prove that the wind is at our back. We have an opportunity to block the divisive Trump administration by attracting and supporting democratic candidates from the County level to the US Congress and Senate in the crucial 2018 mid-term elections in November.
But we need everyone to get off the sidelines and into the game!
