Hands Along The Water! Dealing with Red tide!!

Sunday at 10am on Englewood Beach organizers are staging a Hands Along The Water Event!

Englewood Indivisible is carpooling. Here is their announcement:

Englewood Indivisible

Let’s Join Our Neighbors Sunday at 10:00 AM at “Hands Along The Water” on Englewood Beach

We will carpool from Merchants Crossing starting at 9:00 AM!

This hour-long action at Englewood Beach is one of many statewide actions to demand action on red tide. Because parking will likely be tight at the beach, we will stage a carpool from the Merchants Crossing parking lot on the edge near Office Depot starting at 9:00 AM. (See map).

The organizers are requesting that we not bring signs but wear masks and green or blue shirts — so please wear your Indivisible t-shirts. We’ll have most sizes for $10 at our carpool spot. We’ll also try to have masks, but consider bringing a scarf just in case.
