Englewood Democratic Club meets in-person on October 27th

Summer is over! Please join us for our first  in-person membership meeting this year.

Who All fully-vaccinated EDC Members and Friends are welcome.  Masks are optional.

Where: Englewood Chamber of Commerce, 601 S. Indiana Ave, Englewood 34223.  Parking at the Chamber of Commerce is limited, but there is street parking and the Allstate King Financial & Insurance Group has given us permission to park in their lot.

We will continue our series on Water:  What is it Good For?  – ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! with two speakers:

  • Dennis Ragosta, Government  Affairs Regional Manager in the Southern region will speak on his role which includes analyzing policy at the local level.  Mr. Ragosta is the representative for the District in the 4 county region of Manatee, Sarasota, Desoto and Charlotte County.
  • In addition, JP Marchand, who serves as the Water Resources Bureau Chief for the district will speak.  Mr. Marchland helps identify projects throughout the District’s 16 county region.  He will present on the District’s role in utilities and water resources.
